Email your memorised reports on a recurring schedule in QuickBooks Online. Here’s how.
Set up your report for email schedule
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Reports, then select Custom reports.
- Find the report you'd like to schedule for email.
- In the Action column, select Edit ✎, then turn on Set email schedule.
- Set the email recurrence, and enter the email information.
Note: To send the report as an Excel file, tick Attach the report as an Excel file box. - Select Save or Save and close.
Tips:
- To set a quarterly schedule, select Monthly and Every 3 months for the interval.
- For Monthly reports, you can't choose the 29th, 30th, and 31st day of the month because these days aren't in every month.
- It's best to set Next Date to the 1st day of the following month to capture all transaction activities for that month.
- We offer payroll services for QuickBooks in some countries. This information doesn't apply to payroll reports.
