Adjust inventory Quantity

Hi Luke1969

Thank you for reaching out on this and providing us a screenshot.

Can you try entering 26 under the "NEW QTY" column, please?

Please let us know if that works for you.

Adjust inventory Quantity

Hi Zac, When I change the figure manually it adjusts my inventory on hand by that amount (in this case 40) bringing queen sheets to 66. It also creates a journal entry for inventory shrinkage which will throw out my P&L. I don't understand how I can have a certain qty on hand in one section and a completely different figure in another. I have done quite a lot of troubleshooting myself and posting this question was my last resort. Thanks

Adjust inventory Quantity

Hi Luke,

Thank you for getting back to us on this.

I have replicated the adjustment a few times in my test file and it only brought the inventory to 26, not 66.

The adjustment would create a journal to reflect the dollar value for this adjustment of the inventory. For example, if the buy price is $10, then by adjusting 40 (increase), inventory asset is going to be increased by $400.

Based on what you described, I would suggest to troubleshoot on your browser. Maybe try it on a different browser  (Chrome or Firefox) and see if you have a different result. I would also encourage you to reach out to our support team in Contact Us so we can troubleshoot with you.

Please let us know if you require additional assistance on this. Thank you.
