Hi MrMiyagi,

 

It's quite strange that you still see your customer's invoice after deleting it. Let me help you with this.

 

If you haven't already, try refreshing your QuickBooks page three times. If the invoice is still there, you can do more browser troubleshooting steps. You'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
     

If the invoice is gone, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if we get the same thing.

I’m doing it from the app on my phone. The message I get is:

 

Error

We can’t find this transaction. 
Check to see if it was deleted from QuickBooks online on the web.

For the app, you can tap on Settings and hit Refresh data. If it's the same thing, try to log out and log back in or re-install the application. If it's the same thing again, please contact our Suppor team to check this further. They have more tools on their end.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AEDT.
    • Call us. M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, AEDT.
