How to change the Company's logo? Screens freeze up when attempting to do so.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, gbryson1961. Let's perform troubleshooting steps so you can change the Company's logo in QuickBooks Online smoothly.

 

I recommend logging into your QBO account on a private browser and updating the Company's logo from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue that might cause you to keep getting an unexpected screen freeze.

 

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

 

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

 

If it works in incognito, you have to clear the cache of your regular browser. This clears the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above don't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.

Thanks ChristieAnn.  QB's support chat had me logging in, using Chrome then Edge, both Incognito and the same issue came up under both logins.

When I go to update the Account Settings, a pop up window wants my User Profile then Company Profile details and it advises that the information needs to be complete & accurate.

I complete this screen and when I click on send, this is where the screen freezes.  I am able to close that screen down but the accounts & settings screen is also frozen, so I have to close that down and log back into QBooks Online.

QB Support made me video the entire process (easier said than done when you need to type & one hand has the mobile phone in it recording!!) and then upload the file into their secure large file area.  Hopefully they will come back with a practical solution.
