Since we've tried all the basic trouble shooting steps above. I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to help report the unexpected behavior encountered in your iPad.
Here's how to contact support:
1. Log in to QBO company.
2. Click on the Help icon.
3. In QB Assistant enter a short summary of your concern.
4. Click on Contact us.
Drop by again in the Community if you have further concerns. I am here to help you.
Thanks. I ended up using the chat feature. The person responding got me to delete the app and reload it from the App Store (twice). It made no difference.
She then got me to upload a couple of screenshots and a video showing the issue, which she said she would pass on to the engineers, and that they would email me when they had identified or resolved the problem.
I haven’t received an email overnight, but I tried deleting and reloading the app, and the search function has returned!
For info, I’ve noticed that the version number is now 24.06.01 (and when I reloaded it yesterday that number was different from the version you mentioned above, but it appears to have changed again).
