Hi deb-isew4u-org,
Once you convert a quote to an invoice, the quote will automatically be marked as closed. Let's perform some troubleshooting on your mobile app.
To begin with, please can you kindly refresh the data on the mobile app by following the below steps:
For Android phones:
For Apple phones:
If the above step does not resolve the issue, please uninstall and download the app again. Reinstalling the app ensures that you're using the latest version and will help get you back to business.
On the other hand, you can login on the web browser to see if the quotes are successfully converted to an invoice.
For your reference, you can check on this article on how convert a quote into an invoice in QuickBooks Online using web browser.
Let me know the result of this troubleshooting in the comment below. I need to make sure this is resolved and you're back to running your normal business processing. Thanks!
From the app on iphone there is no 3 lines on the top left of my "home" menu screen - ive looked on all available screens ie Today, My Business, Cash Flow and the lower Menu option. There is no "help and feedback" or "data refresh" options. I returned to the App Store and refreshed the QB app but it has not helped. The process of converting quote-to-invoice works well (though awkward). The result is the quote is closed and the quote number is referenced in the newly created invoice. None of this works within the app.
The app offers a much more convenient "click to convert to invoice" option but only creates an invoice that has no reference to the quote number and the quote remains Pending. When I run a Quote/Invoice report the quote remains 0% Only those that I have converted from the browser by locating in "all sales" and then chosing the "convert to invoice" does it become properly converted; resulting in 100%
Thanks for doing the troubleshooting provided, deb-isew4u-org.
Creating an invoice or quote within the app is more convenient. If the refreshing the app the data or reinstalling it does not show the correct reference number and not reported correctly, I would recommend contacting our support team. This way, you can do screen share with our live support team to further check on this for you.
Feel free to drop a comment below if you need any help. Thanks!
I know this thread is over a year old, but I am currently having the same issue and I can't find a resolution.
- I create an estimate on my PC via QB Online.
- Customer accepts Estimate via call or email reply and I mark it as accepted, OR I get their signature by using the Android App.
- I complete the job
- I then, via Android App as I am a mobile business, click convert to invoice, update info if needed.
- I use my QB card reader or send the invoice to the customer.
- I receive payment.
Now if I go back to my estimate on QB online OR in the Android App, the estimate is still stilling there waiting to be converted or "Pending".
Was there ever a resolution to this issue??
Hi TShankle,
Thank you for joining the conversation and for explaining your process in detail. Let me help you out.
As of right now, I haven’t seen an open investigation about the Pending status of estimates in the AU region, especially if the QBO mobile app is used. Therefore, I recommend performing the suggested solutions of my colleague, IntuitAika, above.
If the issue persists, please contact our QBO Support. This way, they can use more tools to gather more details and investigate this further.
You can always go back to this thread if you have any other concerns about estimates and invoices. Cheers!
