Let me share troubleshooting steps to ensure you're able to see the Expenses icon on your QuickBooks Online app efficiently.

 

There are times when your QBO app has a lot of data which may cause the Expenses icon has be removed from the Shortcuts page. I recommend clearing the cache of your QBO app. This refreshes the data to guarantee that the said icon appears smoothly. This will also help us clear out the stored files that impact and cause problems in the system.

 

You can go right ahead to the device settings and follow the steps below:

 

Android:

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device).
  2. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
  3. Select Storage.
  4. Tap clear data.

 

iOS:

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  2. Choose an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  3. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.
