To get around this and split the expense, you'll want to enter the transaction using the Journal entry feature. These are the steps to get you going:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the left navigational bar, click the + New button.
- Select Journal entry.
- Enter all the necessary details and choose the accounts you want to use.
- Select Save and new or Save and close.
