Follow the steps below to modify any category in your Chart of Account:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Look for the expense category you want to edit and tap on it.
- Click the drop-down arrow beside the Run report link to see the Edit option.
- Modify the category name or description as needed.
- Tap Save and Close to save your changes.
