I have read the instructions, but we do not have the option on the bank account.

I can help you resolve this odd behaviour to activate batch payments for your bank, @angjo.
It's possible that piled-up cache in your regular browser caused this unusual behaviour when trying to set up your bank. You can clear your current browser’s cache to resolve this.
First, you'll have to sign in to your QBO account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache.

Unfortunately it didn't resolve the problem - I tried in private mode and also cleared the cache just in case.
We are using Online Plus. Could it be my account setup or the bank not supported, but that seems strange as a common bank in New Zealand.
I was wondering if you could check something for me in your bank feed.
When you go into your Banking tab and select the bank account, click on the pencil icon, then select Edit Account Info.
From there could you see if the 'I create batch payments for this account' button is there?
If it is, then you will need to check the box then Save.
That should resolve your enquiry.
