Hello there, @Andrew Wheeler.

Welcome to the Community. Let me assist you with the issue going on with your supplier list in QuickBooks.

Unusual behavior, like missing suppliers in QuickBooks Online, can be brought about by issues in the web pages. We can use a private browser to open your account and see if they show up. It doesn't use the cache, which stores data that creates browser-related issues.

Please use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If the supplier list shows up, let's switch back to the regular browser and clear its cache & historical data. This helps to restore the default setup of the browser.

In case private browsing doesn't work, use other supported web engine to get the best and most secure experience with the program.

Additionally, I recommend visiting the following article to track activities made by users within the account: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

You're always welcome to post any questions you have in this space. I'll be happy to help you some more. Have a good day.

I had the same experience on the app on my phone just now. I went to setting and hit the re-sync my data option. This fixed it. I tried signing out and back before and it didn't solve it.

Fwiw, I don't  think issues should be labeled resolved unless the op says it's fixed. The response from the qb sounded like a copy and paste answer, and not that helpful.

Thanks for joining this thread, Dan1413.

I appreciate all your efforts in trying to fix the issue and letting us know the result. Aside from improving the product’s features, we do the same thing with our line of support. Our customers' voice is important because it guides us on what areas we need to enhance (product and support).

To resolve the issuelet’s try performing another one for the supplier list to show when creating transactions. You can clear the app data first to start fresh.

When performing this task, you can either do it in the QBO app or through your device. I can help and guide you through the process.

For Android users (in QBO app):

  1. In the More Options, choose Settings and then Refresh Data.
  2. Click Yes to confirm.

iOS device:

  1. Go to the Help and Feedback section.
  2. From there, tap the Refresh Data option and select Refresh to confirm.

Next, create an expense to check if you’re able to see the supplier list. If you continue to get the same result, perform Steps 4-5 in the following guide: Troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app.

Additionally, this link provides instructions on how to resolve unexpected behavior when working in QBO.

Don’t hesitate to click the Reply button if you need help with QBO. I’ll be right here to answer them for you. Have a good one.
