There is problem adding expenses in the app. The expense date can only be input as today and cannot be input any other day before except today.

There is problem adding expenses in the app. The expense date can only be input as today and cannot be input any other day before except today.

Thanks for sharing your concern on the Community page, @yongmichael.

 

I've checked the option to change the expense date in QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app, and it seems that I was able to adjust it. All you have to do is tap the date and set it from there.

 

Let me show you how: 

 

  1. Open the QBO mobile app and tap the Menu icon.
  2. Select Expenses and tap the Plus icon.
  3. Choose the options on how did you vendor and enter the Account number.
  4. Tap the date and select it from there.
  5. Fill out the rest of the information and tap Save.

In addition, you can run the Profit & loss report in your mobile app. This will show you the list of your income and expense transactions. Just go to the Menu section and select Profit & loss. Then, tap View report.
