After completing a lengthy quote I hit save and send and it takes me login page and quote is lost

Hello there, centralholdings. I'm here to share details about the signing out issue you're experiencing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and provide ways to avoid this.

Please note that QuickBooks Online (QBO) requires a stable internet connection to prevent unexpected refreshes, which may redirect you to the login page.

That said, did you see a prompt indicating that the quote was saved? If so, you can check your recent transactions, including saved quotes, by clicking the magnifying glass icon.RecentTransactions.PNG

It’s also a good practice to click the Save button periodically while working on long quotes or any transactions. This creates backup points, helping to safeguard your progress against any unexpected interruptions.

Moreover, you can modify your settings to extend the duration before being signed out due to inactivity. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Choose the Advanced tab and navigate to the Other preferences section.
  3. Click the Pencil icon. Choose either 2 or 3 hours in the Sign me out if inactive for dropdown.
  4. Click Save, then Done.SignOutInactivity.PNG

Additionally, you can refer to this article about personalising your sales forms: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Let us know if you have other concerns with your quote or QuickBooks-related issues. We're here to help you in any way we can.
