When will manual backup be available? Let's say I entered a lot of entries and made a mistake and want to revert back to an original file before any entries were made. Normally a backup file would allow me to restore the original file and start from that original point again.

You're joining a thread for QBO Australia, and you're using QuickBooks Enterprise which isn't offered in Australia. Therefore, I'll take your questions as QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise USA.
We offer a subscription backup service called Intuit Data Protect. You can set it to automatically (scheduled) back up your files daily, or you can manually save your files to be retrieved later on. It is commonly used by clients with large files, and it's available to everyone who wants to store their QuickBooks files in the cloud.
Please check out this article for more details: Common questions about Intuit Data Protect.
By the way, you can change the flag icon on the Community page to the US flag before posting or searching for answers. That way, we can be sure that you'll only see threads and resources for the US version of QuickBooks.
