Hi , I am not able to invite an accountant from my Quick books account

I'm here to ensure you're able to invite an accountant from your QuickBooks Online(QBO) account, @ashgopi. This way, it'll be much easier for you in managing your business and keeping your books accurate.

In QBO, you can add up to two accountants and only the master admin and accountant users can invite them. With this, you'll have to make sure you're using your master administrator's login credentials to perform the said process. Then, visit the Manage users page. For the detailed steps, here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Manage users.
3. Choose the Accounting firms tab.
4. Click the Invite button.
5. Complete the required fields and select Save.

After that, your accountant will receive an email with instructions in accessing your QBO account.

QuickBooks lets you invite users to help you with your books. You can learn more about the maximum number of billable and accountant users by visiting this article: How many users can I set up?. It also contains tips on how to effectively manage your existing users.

When your accountant is able to access your account, there are specific reports intended for them. You're able to view the complete list in the For my accountant section from the Report menu's Standard tab.

I can't work out where to even find the Manage users page.  Can you help me?

If you wish to invite an accountant into a QuickBooks Online company, the instructions provided above will be useful in doing so:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Manage users.
3. Choose the Accounting firms tab.
4. Click the Invite button.
5. Complete the required fields and select Save.

I have followed the previous instructions to invite my accountant to Quickbooks.

However, it keeps looping me through a series of "Let's make sure you're you" checks and doesn't actually send the invite. Please Help!!!

We can do some browser troubleshooting first before we can add and invite an accountant user on your QuickBooks Online account. 

First thing we'll need to do is to clear your browser's cache. Deleting browser's cache data helps to troubleshoot  and helps increasing the loading time of web pages. After clearing cache, you can try to add and invite your accountant as a user. Make sure that you've deleted the old invite if it is still showing when you go to Gear icon and select Manage users.

We have a client with the same issue. They get stuck in a loop when trying to invite us to their QuickBooks. They have cleared all browser history. They have even tried using a different computer and still can't invite an accountant. We tried adding additional users in troubleshooting. We could add a standard user, but we weren't able to add an admin user. We ended up in the same loop of needing to verify identity.

2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter a few words describing how your client is unable to send an invitation even after attempting to troubleshoot it.
4. Click Continue.
5. Choose how you wanted to connect with our team online.
