How can I record sales / expenses from MYOB to Quickbooks to complete BAS reporting?

Hi rory3,

 

 If you have transactions recorded in other software that you would like to show in Quickbooks Online, there's a couple of different ways to do so.

 

  1. You can import your data using Excel into Quickbooks Online. This article will take you through the specifics of data imports of customers, invoices, suppliers, products/services etc, correct mapping of spreadsheets and so on. See this resource for specifics on importing your Chart of Accounts (you can now also import opening balances on this spreadsheet for these accounts as an added feature), and this article for importing journals. If you are unsure how to export this information from another software you would need to reach out to their support for assistance.
  2. If you need to import payroll data, follow the steps in this article for more information. 
  3. Consider researching apps such as Transaction Pro or SaaSant from the App store - these are third parties that can assist with moving data from one software to another.
