I' like to back up my data to my own hard drive. How do I do this?

Is there a way of manually backing up my information ? I understand quickbooks has its own methods, but I would like to keep a record of them myself.

I acknowledge that it's crucial for you to keep a record of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company file, Genhealth. To help you get a backup of your QBO account, let me provide you with some essential information.

To start with, please note that reports can be exported for backup, but not as a complete corporate file. Let me guide you on how you can easily run reports in QBO and export them in Excel format for backup.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings, then Export Data.
  2. Click on the Reports or List tab.
  3. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

You can also visit the Intuit App Center to view supported apps that can help you backup the QuickBooks Online data. Here's how:

  1. Go to
  2. Click the drop-down arrow beside the magnifying glass, then choose Australia.
  3. In the search box, type Backup.
  4. You'll be provided with a list of apps that can perform backup.

Cloud-based data are not designed to be backed up locally. You need a paid workaround to do so.
