Hi QuickBooks team,
I did not achieve connectivity with GSB Great Southern Bank.
I changed banks.
Hello there, RozzieD.
I know this isn't easy stuff to deal with. I understand how that would be difficult and I know that this is something very important to you. For now, our engineers are still working on resolving this, and we're not given any time frame when it will be sorted out.
While waiting for the connection and business accounts to become available, you'll want to check on how you can get your bank transactions and manually import them to QuickBooks Online: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
For additional information on how to handle bank data, you can visit these articles:
The Community is always here for you. Let us know if there's anything else you need with QuickBooks.
my GSB is linked but for the past month i have not received updated transactions!!it is quite frustrating even after going through troubleshooting..
Thanks for chiming in, James. I appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting to fix the error. I also understand how important it is for you to get this resolved, Let me help you resolve this concern so you can work with your bank transactions as before.
QBO automatically downloads new transactions when you link your online bank and credit card accounts. We can do a manual update if you are still waiting to receive the most recent transactions or updates that appear stuck. Let me guide you on how.
Then, you can sign in to your bank's website. This is to check your account page for messages or alerts that need your attention. When you make changes on the website (i.e., login credentials and account info), you'll also have to update QuickBooks. Here's how:
In the meantime, you can also manually upload transactions in QuickBooks to get the older transactions from your bank. Please check this article: Manually Upload Transactions Into QuickBooks Online.
However, if you still experience the same thing, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to investigate further what is causing transactions not to appear on the For Review tab.
Moreover, I'd recommend reconciling your bank accounts monthly, so your books are balanced and accurate. Like balancing your checkbook, we should review your QBO accounts to ensure they match your bank and credit card statements.
Please leave a reply below for any additional details you may add. I'll be right here to help you once more. Have a good day.
Joining very late on this thread - I too have just setup with GSB and I cannot see them as an option in the 'connect an account' section where you select a bank. CUA is there though? Is that what we are meant to use? I do hope that some fix has been found - if it is GSB's policy to not connect to third party apps, then oh well. But if this has been resolved or a fix has been found I would appreciate it.
Hi there, SalesMeter.
I understand how important it is to connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online and download automatic bank feeds. At the moment Great Southern Bank and CUA are no longer supporting standard bank feed connections. We received confirmation from the AU Financial Partnership team that these financial institutions are no longer supporting standard bank feed connections.
Due to circumstances outside our control, these financial institutions will no longer be available to be connected through QuickBooks.
In the meantime, you can manually your transactions using a CSV file upload. For reference you can check this link for more information about What to do when your bank no longer supports your bank feeds in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to post again in the Community if you have other questions.
If your bank doesn't support QBO, you can use a converter tool as a workaround (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license).
