Hello Accounts503,

 

Thanks for coming to community. To simplify this, there are two types of users

 

  1. Admin User who is able to set up QBTime as well as clock in and clock out
  2. User who can clock in and clock out 

Each file can have one admin user, and how many additional users you require will be dependent on how many of your team members want to use QBTime features. Hope this helps!! If this doesn't fully answer your question, please comment here again and I will try to help.

Hi. Thanks for responding. So which of those users is the one that is charged a monthly fee for the Quickbooks subscription? Is it team members who clock in and out or the higher level admin user?

The QuickBooks Time subscription is charge based on the subscription type you have between Premium and Elite plan plus the number of active users on file.

 

You can check the breakdown of your monthly subscription through your QuickBooks Time account too. Here's how:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Time account.
  2. Click on Company Settings.
  3. Click on Account & Billing tab.
  4. Click on View Billing & Subscription.

Also to check the most recent pricing and features offered in QuickBooks Time, you can check the marketing website through https://quickbooks.intuit.com/au/time-tracking/pricing/.
