Multi company set up

Hi Kez098,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Currently, reporting for two QuickBooks Online accounts for BAS purposes is unavailable. Only one BAS report can be submitted electronically per file at a time. Exporting BAS reports for each company file and merging them manually may be necessary to report one figure directly to the ATO.

You can run a GST Details report and export them through excel. Here's how:

  1. Click on the GST tab.
  2. Click on Run reports.
  3. Select GST Detail.
  4. Select a report period and accounting method.
  5. Click on Run report.
  6. Click on the Export icon and select Export to Excel.
  7. Save the report and merge them with the other company file you have.

If you have product feedback to help enhance the software, I recommend submitting one through Settings in QBO and click on Feedback. This goes straight to our product developers letting them know your thoughts.
