Hi dario-cattleheal,
Through your Intuit Account there is a way to turn off two-step authentication to make sure you don't require this in the future. Please see the steps below to organise this:
Another good tip is on the sign in screen for QuickBooks is to tick the box that says 'Remember Me', this also helps. Let me know how you go after signing.
Thanks,
-Steven
Hi, unfortunately my two step verification has been switched off using this method and I still have to receive a stupid verification code. How do you really, really switch it off???

Thank you and please let us know if you require any additional assistance.
What was the solution?
This two step verification is a nuissance; ridiculous and annoying security after you
1. logon to your computer or Device
2. Login to your wifi
3. Login to quickbooks with username and password
4. select send a text code
5. login to your phone
6. read the text code
7. enter the text code
multiple times per day multiplied by three Companies
II have had enough, please tell me how this can be resolved!
I don't know if this will help, but I was able to disable it when I used Chrome as my browser, but not when I used Brave Browser. I absolutely detest this stupid so-called security feature too, hope it fixes it for you, fingers crossed 🤞
