It's nice to see you here, mgw-internode-on.

Currently, there isn't a report that will show if the transactions have been tagged or not in QuickBooks Online. However, you can pull up Profit and Loss by Tag Group and customize to see the list of transactions with tags. I'm here to guide your how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Enter the Profit and Loss report in the text box.
  3. Select the Customize button.
  4. Under the Rows/Columns section, go to the Columns drop-down and select the Tag group.
  5. Check the boxes of other aspects you'd like to show in the report.
  6. Select Run report.

After you've done customizing the report, you may also memorize it so that you can use the selections you've chosen in the future.

If you have any additional concerns about running reports in QuickBooks Online, let me know in the Reply section below. I'm always here to help. Have a good one.

Tag group does not appear only untagged group.

Previously my tags did appear.

I can see they are still available when going to banking, but no report can be ran with the tags at this time

Hi rita41,

Thanks for joining the thread. Let me show you how to run a Profit and Loss report with tags.

  1. On Reports tab, search for Profit and Loss by Tag Group.
  2. Select the Report period.
  3. On Display columns by, select a tag group.
  4. Select Run report

You can also do that by going to Tags tab. To do that, you can follow these steps.

  1. On Transactions tab, select Banking and then Tags.
  2. Click on Run report on a tag  or tag group.
