The Coles Credit Card is not updating , says its a 101 error and will notify me once fixed, its been almost a month now with no fix and any communication.

The error 101 can be sometimes caused by various reasons. Here are a few ways on how to fix this:

 

Log in to your bank's website.

  1. In a new tab or a different browser, sign in to your bank's website to see if you can get in without any errors.

 

Check if your account is active.

  1. Your account is considered active if there’s an existing balance, or if there were transactions in the past 12 months.
  2. If you’re supposed to have an active account but still unable to log in to your bank’s website, contact them directly.

 

Look for missed prompts.

  1. Go back to your bank’s website and look for messages that need your confirmation (ex. terms and conditions).
  2. Acknowledge the prompt, then go back and refresh your account in QuickBooks Online.

 

If the issues persist, try signing into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is a browser-related issue.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

 

Once logged in, try to manually update your bank in the Banking page to double-check. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the tile on the bank account you want to reconnect.
  3. Click the Update button.

 

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the same thing happens, try using other supported browsers.
