My iPhone cannot use the quickbooks and support cannot fix it. Has anyone else had the same problem and how did they fix it
Hello there, @Osmosis_pb. I can see the urgency of getting your QuickBooks Online (QBO) app issue fixed.
Let's update the QuickBooks mobile app and your iOS (iPhone) to their latest version so you can open and use QBO accordingly.
You may have an outdated version of the QBO app and iOS (the app needs iOS 12.2 or later to work properly). That's why you're unable to open and use the QuickBooks app. Updating them is necessary to help you access new features and fixes.
First, update (you can also update apps manually on your Apple device) the QuickBooks mobile app. Here's how:
Next, update the latest version of iOS. To do this, here's how:
Once you're done, go ahead and open your QBO app.
Also, you may want to check out this article as your reference to guide you about the QBO app features available on supported mobile devices: Compare mobile app features. It contains a comparison chart between Android and iOS devices.
Let me know if you have other concerns about opening and using the QBO app. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and have a great day, @Osmosis_pb.
I have followed these instructions multiple time in the past and am now on the new iOS 16 and the latest version of the app, but it still won’t open
Hi LuckyPhil,
Thank you for joining the thread! Do you have any error when using the QuickBooks Online app?
If you have the updated version of iOS, let's try to refresh your app. Issues when opening your mobile application for QuickBooks can be fixed by clearing your app's data. This helps refresh applications and eliminates common issues. If you haven't tried the following steps, I suggest performing them.
If reinstalling the app, refreshing app data and having a newer version of iOS is still not working, I'd recommend contacting our technical support. This way, we'll be able to pull up your account and investigate this issue. Here's how to connect with us:

My I phone has not been able to get past the “loading your company data” for the last three months. I have tried on my brand new iPhone, as well as other family members phones and it does the same thing. I have spent hours on the phone with QuickBooks who just tell me to delete and re-download and delete and re-download and then tell me that it’s noted they will try to work on it. The crazy thing is that it works on one of my old android devices that I don’t even have service on but I connect to Wi-Fi to use the app! Ridiculous!
We understand how frustrating it can be when things don't go as planned, @Bcapusan. Please know that we are here to help and will do everything we can so you can get back to working order.
