JE Import Feature for QB's online

Hello pcarron,

You'll have to make sure you're log in using a web browser to be able to import Journal entries in QuickBooks Online. Also, make sure you're log in as the Master or Company admin user of the account.

If you're not seeing the Import data option, we'd recommend signing in to your QuickBooks Online account using a new incognito window or different browser to isolate the situation.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Log in to your QBO account and access the Import Journal Entries option once more. If you're able to access the import data option, then go back to your default browser and clear your browser's cache. It is a good idea to clear cache to remove temporary internet files to help the application to function smoothly.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have more questions. I'll be sure to get back and help you. Have a good one.

JE Import Feature for QB's online

This feature appears to NOT exist, at least in USA-versions. I am using QBO - Quickbooks Advanced - and do not have the option available to import a journal entry.  I attempt to via clicking on the Gear icon, then selecting "Import data" in the Tools menu, and my options are only: Bank Data, Customers, Vendors, Chart of Accounts, Products and Services, and Invoices.
