I have tried everything to try and fix the bank connection issue but it still won't work. I have connected, reconnected created countless new passwords and still can't get it to connect. apart from changing from quickbooks to another accounting software I don't know what else to do
It will be my pleasure to help you get to the bottom of this, Tim K.
There are different reasons why you're unable to connect your bank account. It might be that:
What you can do for now is reach out to your bank and check for any maintenance update or request to establish a connection with QuickBooks.
Once everything is good from your bank's side, ensure to select the correct bank name when connecting the account. Let me guide you with these steps:
If you're still unable to connect your bank account, you may want to upload the transactions using an Excel file. Here's an article for the detailed steps of the process: Manually upload transactions.
Once done, you can categorise the items. Here's a reference as your guide: Categorise transactions.
Let me know how things work on your end. I'm here to make sure that you're able to connect your bank account. Keep safe!
I can't do that. that takes too long. I had a quick look and dont understand what account I want to see transactions for. I just want it to work seamlessly and automatically transfer my transactions. I had xero in a previous business recently and it worked perfectly all the time with the same bank. I thought I would give quickbooks a go because I liked the mobile app better than Xero.
When I first made this quickbooks account, I connected the bank account and it worked perfect. I could see transactions, it automatically worked out profit and loss and then all of a sudden now hasn't worked for over a month or so.
I have looked at the banks side of things and there doesn't seem to be anything there that has changed. its so frustrating.
