Remove employee from Project Hour costs

I have a project started and i have a employee that's no longer with me, how do i remove them from the Project hourly cost section?

All i can do is change they're rate, but can edit name or remove them altogether.

Hello nik-infitouts-co,

 

At the moment we're unable to remove an employee added to the hourly project cost. If the employee is no longer working for your company you can edit the amount or cost rate of the employee to zero. 

 

If the employee is no longer with you, you can also check your employee list and set the employee to terminated status. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on the Employee name.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the employee detail, and click on Terminate employee.
  4. Set termination date and reason.

So you can delete but can you edit the name of the employee? I can’t see an option on that either

Let me show you how to edit an employee name. 

 

  1. Go to Employees tab.
  2. Select an employee.
  3. Then enter the employee's name on the field provided.
  4. Select Save.

The employee section is empty and my project cost rate has employees?

Hi nik-infitouts-co,

 

Thanks for getting back to us. From the Employees tab page, can you set the filter to All Employees instead of Active Employees? From there check if the employee's name shows up and see if you can set them to inactive or terminated status by clicking their name.

 

Since the feature to remove employees from the hourly project cost is unavailable at the moment, it's best to set the hours to zero for that employee to not be included in the project.

The way to manage it it via the "Employee Contact List" within the "Reports" tab
