Virgin money bank linking issue

To locate your bank when you connect it to online banking in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can check the following:
 

• Check that the spelling matches what appears on your bank's website.
• When looking for your bank, use very specific names. If you're still having trouble, consider broad terms like "Citi."
• Enter your bank's URL into the search box and double-check that it's correct. For example, go to "hsbc.com" to learn more about HSBC.
   

But if you're still unable to locate and connect to your bank, I recommend requesting support from your bank.

Here's how:
 

1. Go to the Profile icon  then select Bank accounts.
2. Enter your bank into the search box.
3. Choose Request support for your bank.
4. Type in the bank name and URL.
5. Then select Request.
    

You can still be able to manually import transactions using a CSV file even if you aren't connected to the bank.

To import transactions using CSV file, here's how:
 

1. Go to the Profile  icon and select Imports.
2. Choose Import transactions and follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
3. Then select Import.
