Chrome Not Working

I recently noticed that when I was logging into my account using Chrome, it would go to the point where I could add the credentials but after that there was a constant sand clock showing.    I tried to seek help from someone in QBO and I was advised that there was an issue with QBO and I should use Edge.  It worked fine but I am still not able to log in thru Chrome.   Is there indeed an issue or someone tried to get rid of the issue for the time being.

Chrome Not Working

Let's troubleshoot the error you're experiencing when accessing your QuickBooks Online account from Chrome, fairfield. 

 

To access QuickBooks Online (QBO) using Chrome, ensure that you use a supported and updated version of the Google Chrome browser, version 78 or newer. Then, add Intuit as a trusted site in your browser, as it prevents your browser from blocking site content. 

 

Once done, restart your browser. Then, log in to your QBO again. If the error persists, try to clear your browser's cache. Clearing the browser's cache can help remove temporary internet files and data that may be causing conflicts with the website. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. It'll help isolate the issue as it doesn't store data in the cache.

 

Here are the shortcut keys for opening an incognito or private window in Google Chrome:

 

  • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • macOS: Press Command + Shift + N

 

If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix QuickBooks Online issues. Then, refresh any open web pages for the changes to take effect.
