Is anyone having trouble navigating around QBO lately? Not sure if there has been an upgrade, but wanted to save and close out of AP bill. Same bill remains.

You cannot exit out of existing bill on screen. Then it goes back to home screen of Client, instead of the Bill's Supplier screen.

Hi there, Yvonne.

It sounds like the Save button logic on your AP Bills has changed. While there hasn't been an upgrade, minor updates sometimes cause these kinds of shifts.

Based on what you're describing, here's the current behavior you're seeing:

  • When you click Save (trying to save and close out), the same bill remains open on the screen (it just saves the changes).
  • When you click Save and Close, the bill is correctly saved and closed, but it's taking you all the way back to the Client's homepage, instead of the Bill's Supplier list/screen.

If you want to save the existing bill and immediately open a new, blank one (for the same supplier or just the bill screen), the button you'll want to use is Save and New.

The Save button now only saves changes and keeps the window open. You must use Save and Close to exit the bill screen.

Hope that clears up the confusion and helps you navigate your AP bills a bit faster! Let me know if you have any other questions!
