My QB won’t load on my laptop. Why is this now started to happen?

One of the reasons for this is the excessive data stored in your browser, @dtrgasco. Let me discuss this in detail.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses browser cache and cookies to run faster, but these can also block web pages from loading. To rectify this, you can open your QuickBooks account using a different web browser or clear your browser's cache. I can guide you through the process to ensure your QuickBooks is running smoothly.

First, make sure that your laptop has a stable and reliable internet connection. You can verify this by accessing other websites to confirm that your connection is functioning properly.

Once verified, open your QBO using a private window. It allows you to run a web session without the cookies and history of any web browsing you have already done. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to save time:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

If it works, I recommend clearing your regular browser's cache to ensure that the product operates smoothly. Otherwise, consider using a different web browser that QuickBooks supports.

Moreover, I'm adding this article in case you encounter sign-in issues with your account in the future: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in.

Get back to me if you have further questions about your QuickBooks account, @dtrgasco. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand.
