Invoices List Table Settings

Is it possible to customise the table settings in the invoices list? To see the location I am discussing, please go to Sales>Invoivces> see tab Actions and select the gear icon.

Invoices List Table Settings

Hi cvo1,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Adding locations to the tabs shown in the Invoicing section is unavailable in the current features in QuickBooks Online. If you wanted to show the locations used to the invoices or transaction. I would recommend using the reports tab and run Sales by Location Detail report. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Reports tab.
  2. Search Sales by Location Detail.
  3. Select a Report period, click on Customise.
  4. Click on Rows/Columns.
  5. Tick box for Locations.
  6. Click on Run report.

We'll be able to see the Locations used for each transaction. You can also run different reports from the reports tab and  save your customisation after.

You can also check this link to learn more about: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

Post again in the Community if you have other concerns. The team is here to help you.

Invoices List Table Settings

Hi Sheila,
I'm not looking to add locations, I want to add the date the invoice was created, rather than the the invoice date

It is not always the same date for us

Invoices List Table Settings

Hi cvo1,

Adding the invoice creation date in the Invoices tab is actually a good idea. I can definitely add this to our product feature request report and let our Product Developers Team know. I would also recommend sending a product feedback through your QBO account by clicking the Settings icon, select Feedback.

In the meantime, we can use the Report feature and pull up reports like Transaction List by Date or Invoice List and click on Customise to add Create Date column.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have further concerns.
