You can use and turn on the Multi-currency feature in QuickBooks Online to be able to track receipts in international currency. You'll have to make sure you're using the Essentials and PLUS versions of QuickBooks Online to track multi-currency transactions.
Just a heads up once you turn on multi-currency you can't turn it off. So double-check if you really need the feature.
To turn on the multi-currency feature:
Once done, you can add customers, suppliers, and bank accounts in foreign currency to help you record foreign currency transactions.
To record the foreign expense, set up the supplier in foreign currency first and then create the transaction by selecting the supplier created. Here's how:
