Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the behavior encountered in your QuickBooks Online account. To start with, use a new incognito window or a different supported browser. Using an incognito window does not store any data file.
Here's how:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
Then, log in to QuickBooks Online and attempt to sort bank transactions once more and click on the DATE column to sort the dates. If it works, you need to clear cache and cookies on your browser and make sure to take note of your saved password and URLS. Unexpected results when doing some task in QuickBooks Online are usually caused by cache or other browser issues.
