BAS dates appear as Jul 2019 - Jun 2020 and should appear as Jul 2020 - Sep 2020, how can I change these for BAS

Hi qldelectrictrust, 

 

Thank you for reaching out. You have the option to set your BAS period to Monthly, Quarterly or Annually in QuickBooks Online. 

 

This can be done by logging into QBO using a web browser and: 

  • Navigating to the GST Tab
  • Select Settings in the top right and choose Tax Settings 
  • From here you can edit the lodging frequency and include applicable tax types. 

If you have commenced lodging BAS via the GST centre the system will want you to lodge each period in date order. If not, you will be able to select what date range you begin from.
