Thank you for reaching out. In this case, no, as using the Leave Category Work Type in a Timesheet will accrue leave rather than take leave.
Please see here for more information on how Work Types affect Timesheets.
The options would be to use Leave Requests or enter the Leave Taken manually into the Pay Run.
