Can you enter leave into timesheets in the employee portal by choosing the work type rather than via a leave request?
We are using timesheets and staff are currently entering their normal hours and any TOIL accrued directly into the timesheet via the employee portal. Any leave (annual leave, personal leave, TOIL) taken is applied for via the 'request leave' option. Some staff are finding this challenging, so I have a question... If the staff member uses the drop down box and chooses the work type RATHER than applying for leave (e.g. they choose 'Annual Leave Taken' in the drop down box instead of actually applying for annual leave via a leave request), will this adjust their leave balances correctly?
