Hi community need help to set the date to dd/mm/yyyy, currently in mm/dd/yyyy and it's interfering with the data importing eg April 10th 2021 shows up in qb as 4th of October.... how do I change this back to dd/mm/yyyy format... grateful for help!!

The option to change the time format for dd/mm/yyyy in QucikBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is unavailable. The default format we have is mm/dd/yyyy. You'll want to check for a third-party application that can help you with this one. You can check out the apps that are compatible with QuickBooks at this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/

 

Just in case you are using QuickBooks Online (QBO) version, you can change your date settings by following the steps below: 

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Advanced menu and click into the section Other Preferences.
  4. Choose your preferred date format, then Save and Done.
