Hello Kath5,

 

If your employees are not showing up in Single Touch Payroll lodgements at all, please try checking the Closely Held Employee setting. If an employee is marked as closely held, they will not show in lodgements.

 

Try checking the settings using these steps:

  1. Navigate to Employees
  2. Select the name of the employee you wish to check
  3. Select Pay Run Defaults from the left menu
  4. Scroll to the bottom and check Closely Held Employees

If you are still having issues, please reach out to our support team:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online
  2. Select Help
  3. Select Contact Us
  4. Type in your inquiry and select Let's Talk

Nope that is not the problem. No one is checked as closely held employee

If employee are not closely held another field to check would be the employee's Date of Birth. I have seen in the past that the system defaults to 1900 for the birth year when you first set up the employees and it excludes them from STP.

 

To check: 

 

  1. Select the Employee 
  2. On the right-hand side select Details
  3. Check date of birth field, if not correct please amend then click save
  4. Then go back to the STP screen to check, if it doesn't appear straight away please select the Actions button and then select Refresh data.

it's something twitchy because one employee is showing up. he's the only one who isn't getting jobkeepers
