Can you please help to create a payrun? Pay period is stuck to Fortnightly and unable to choose Monthly pay run option. What' wrong ?

Hi joonjung, this is a known issue that is being worked on at the moment.

In the mean time you are able to work around this issue by adjusting the screen.

Please hold down the CTRL button (Command button for MAC) and then press either the + or - button once.

This will adjust the screen as well as unlock the drop down menu so you can select Monthly for your pay schedule.

Try that out and see how it works.

Kristian.

Mine is stuck with Monthly and can't choose anything else.

I tried  CTRL button (Command button for MAC) and then press either the + or - button once

it only changed the screen letter size bigger or smaller.

Could you suggest something else?

Hello WillowZen,

The steps provided by Kristian_S only work if you have already set up another pay schedule for the new employee. Also, the steps are specific for Mac users. For PC or laptop users, pressing the Alt key might work.

Meanwhile, we can create another pay schedules by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll Settings and select Pay Schedules.
  2. Click Add and enter the name of the new pay category.
  3. Select the frequency from the drop-down menu. You'll have the option to add these employees to the schedule if necessary. You can click Save afterwards.
  4. Go to Employees and select the new employee to assign the new pay schedule.
  5. Under Pay Run Settings, click Pay Run Defaults.
  6. Update the Pay Schedule and click Save.

Note that the employees under any pay category rates can be configured to accrue leave, super, and other pay settings.
