Hi info1330,

Thanks for reaching out. Are they seeing a particular error message when this happens? Or does it just not do anything?

I would also like to rule out any browser issues and confirm if the same thing occurs on another browser or in an Incognito window?

Thanks,

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for your response, client prefers Chrome (don't we all!) and also tried Mozilla with no luck but Internet Explorer did.

I've asked him to clear his cache in Chrome. Is that what you'd suggest?

Thanks for keeping us updated with the results of the troubleshooting, info1330.

Since it works with Internet Explorer, you'll need to go back to your regular browser which is Chrome, and clear its cache. This helps eliminate previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue with approving leave requests.

Once done, you can continue approving leave requests. You may want to follow the steps below in case you need a reference:

  1. Go to the Employees tab.
  2. Click the drop-down beside Manage Employees and select Manage requests.
  3. You can customize the leave status to show pending leave requests and group it by Employee or Leave Category.
  4. Select leave period and location (if applicable).
  5. You will then see a list of the pending leave requests.
  6. Press the “tick“ icon to approve it

To ensure that your approved leave requests appear when creating a pay run, go back to the leave requests and check their status. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Manage Employees button.
  2. Choose Manage Requests.
  3. Set the appropriate Leave period and Employee name.
  4. All pending leave requests for that employee should appear.
  5. Make sure that the status is shown as Approved.
