Just wondering why you are prompted to put in a Member Number on a SMSF? How do you get round this given it's not a member fund?
Hi Adriandawet,
Thanks for posting in the Community! You will be prompted to enter a member number on SMSF if you've selected Regulated option in Super funds option. Let me share with you the steps on how to add your employee's self-managed super fund details.
For more information, you can also check this article: Setting up Super Payments with Beam in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to drop a comment below if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
It's all set up correctly using the SMSF Tab and has the SMSF Product Code and the ABN and the ESA.
Hi Adriandawet,
Thanks for getting back to us. The above steps provided by my colleague is the way to set up Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF). If this is your first time processing the SMSF, you can enter the numeric number 1 on the member field. That should let you save or go through the set up.
If you need more help with setting up SMSF, I would recommend contacting our Customer care Team. That way, one of your support care agent can check your super fund settings and ask your details in a secure form.
