Suppliers overview

The Suppliers page is where you keep track of the suppliers you work with. Suppliers are people or companies that you pay money to, such as a store, utility, landlord, or subcontractor who does work for you.

The suppliers money bar

The coloured bar at the top of the Suppliers page is called the Suppliers money bar. It gives you a visual overview of your supplier interactions.It shows the number and total amount of the following:

  • Purchase orders you have open with suppliers.
  • Bills from suppliers and how many are overdue.
  • Bills you’ve paid in the last 30 days.

To add a supplier

Here's how to add a supplier:

  1. Select Expenses, then Suppliers.
  2. Select New Supplier.
  3. Complete the fields in the Supplier Information window.
  4. Select Save.

View transactions for suppliers

Here’s how to view transactions for suppliers:

  1. Select Expenses, then Suppliers.
  2. Find and select the appropriate supplier.
  3. Under Transaction List, you should see all transactions for this supplier.

Other tasks you can do on the Supplier page

Here are other tasks you can do on the Supplier page:

  • Select Edit to update the supplier profile.
  • Select New transaction to create a new Bill, Expense, Purchase Order, or Cheque for your supplier.
  • Select the Filter drop-down the to show only certain transaction types.
  • Select the Printer icon to print the supplier transactions.
  • Select the Export icon to export the supplier transactions to an Excel spreadsheet.
