How to import more than 100 invoices from excel file to QuickBooks Premier Edition 2013?

QuickBook Desktop has an option to import your transactions by batch such as invoices. We can use the IIF file to do it. You'll have to export export the IIF file from QuickBooks and use it for reference. Then, import a different IIF file were the invoices are added.

Before that, I'd recommend creating a backup copy of your company file: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

Aside from that, you can also look for a third-party application that can import your invoices directly to QuickBooks Desktop.

Is there a simple IIFF file with headers 1) Customer Account number 2) Invoice number 3) Invoice date 4) Taxable amount 5) Tax code 6) Non-taxable amount?

Quickbooks will auto calculate tax and total invoice amount?

You can edit the IIF file, JaneJJ.

Here's how:

1. In Microsoft Excel, go to File and select Open.
2. Browse to your IIF file.
3. In the File type drop-down, select All Files.
4. Select the IIF and then select Open.
5. In the Text Import Wizard, select Next, then Next and Finish.
6. Make the changes to your IIF file.
7. Go to the File menu and select Save.
8. Select Yes.
9. Close Excel. You'll get a prompt to save the IIF again. Select Don't Save.

QuickBooks Desktop will calculate the taxes based on your set up. Make sure to set up your taxes correctly so whenever you create your transactions, QB is calculating them correctly.

I tried, but there is an error for taxable sales with 7% GST, zero-rated sales with 0%. 

Anyone tried to import the invoice iiff file before, could you pls advise me?
