Hi All, Need help on QBO GST code. Subscribed for software licences from Foreign Vendor. Invoice does not have GST. Should it be 0% EP or 0%NR?

Good day, finance125.

Let's try using a private browser or incognito window to isolate this issue. This is a good place to start the troubleshooting since your web browser keeps files in its cache and saves the pages you have previously visited.

If this works, you can go back to your original browser and clear the cache to make sure your browser functions more efficiently. Otherwise, you can try other supported browser to help narrow down the cause of this behavior.

If none of the steps above works, try creating a new invoice template and use it when you create the invoice.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Custom Form styles.
  2. Click the New style drop-down and choose Invoice.
  3. Customize your template and make sure GST is there.
  4. Click Done to save changes.

Then, create an invoice and choose the template you previously created. I'll share the steps below in case you need it:

  1. Select + New. Under Customers, select Invoice.
  2. Complete the form. On the right, from the Location drop-down, select the appropriate location.
  3. At the bottom of the invoice page, select Customise. Choose the newly created template.
  4. Select Save.
  5. If you want to see how it looks like, select Print or Preview, then Print or Preview.

You'll want to visit the IRAS website for your additional questions about GST codes: https://www.iras.gov.sg/irashome/default.aspx. From here you can get information that will help you decide whether to use the 0% EP or 0%NR,
