I'm here to help fix the bank error, eleanains.
Banking error 106 means QuickBooks is unable to locate your account on the bank's website. This usually happens when the account is closed.
If you closed your bank account, select Need to disconnect? Here's how. You can also follow the steps I've outlined below.
Before disconnecting your bank, make sure to review and categorize transactions that are already downloaded. This way, you won't have to download them again when your bank is connected again.
If your account isn't close, you can consider logging into the bank's website. Then, check the status so you can reconnect it.
If everything looks good, set up again your bank for online banking. If not, you can download transactions from your bank. Then, manually import them to QuickBooks.
I'm also adding this link to learn how to fix banking issues: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions. It provides instructions and detailed steps.
