Hi there, TPSBS.
At this time, DBS corporate banking connection type is not yet supported. In this case, I recommend using the Request support for your bank option as a sign of petition to add your bank as one of the supported financial institutions that can be connected with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Here's how:
Learn more about connecting you bank in QBO through this helpful link: Find your bank account when you connect to online banking.
While we continue to work with the bank to develop a direct connection, you can manually import the transactions via CVS upload. For a complete instructions on how to do this, you can follow the steps in this article: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.
Feel free to reach back to me for any questions. I'm here to provide further assistance at any time. Have a good one.
This is a failure from Quickbooks. about 2years ago teh direct feed from DBS has not been working.
Multiple enquires and they "are working on it".. rubbish support here and customer service.
EXACTLY!
This is an ongoing failure of Quickbooks to provide a DBS link that works. It used to work back in 2018, and then DBS updated their website, and QBO never updated/ bothered to invest to fix the issues. They have for over 2 years gave garbage answers to customer complaints that they are either working on it or for users to lodge a request to support it. Very poor service for a feature we pay for!
2021.... It still the same!!!
Please please work with DBS on this. I have been using a workaround (download file, change headers to match quickbooks etc). DBS works flawlessly with Xero. Please please do work on this!!!!!
What is worse that no one from Quickbooks even bothered to respond and explain.
A few times I was told it is now fixed but to no avail.
I have requested for DBS Ideal (ie business banking) to be added to the list of banks. May I request everyone else who wants it to do the same?
how/where to do this?
is there an official book ro work/request
Hi there, @AndreasP.
Thanks for joining this thread. Yes, you can follow the steps shared by my peer @Charies_M above. She provided detailed steps on how you can request to support your bank.
For more insights, you can also check out Step 3: Request support for your bank in this help article: Find your bank account when you connect to online banking.
Feel free to message again if you have additional concerns. I'll be around to help.
I appreciate the trouble you take to recommend work-abouts and additional software to resolve problems. It would be more helpful for Quickbooks to improve, and offer these basic features, rather than add another service, (and pay for it, most of the time). With all the cyber and tech issues these days, we have to be very careful about the software we use. Thank you,
I appreciate your feedback, Sal Singapore.
Any suggestions that would help the system to provide a more friendly-user interface is deeply appreciated. That being said, I'll take note of your idea and share it with our Developers team.
If you have any other ideas about the product, feel free to let us know.
Wishing you and your business continued success!
Hi, it's been almost three months, so I'm writing to see whether DBS Business Banking is being added to your list of banks whose feeds upload automatically? Connecting with DBS personal bank accounts is not suitable as most businesses would have BUSINESS accounts. Thank you,
Joining the thread to answer your Online Banking question, Sal Singapore.
When a request is submitted, our engineering will reach out to your bank and check if an integration is possible. Adding it to the list of participating is a mutual decision between your bank and QuickBooks.
At the moment, the only type of account that's supported is the personal banking for DBS Singapore. In the meantime, you can continue to import your banking transactions as a CSV file. Let me share this article for more details: Manually Upload Transactions Into QuickBooks Online.
I'd also like to leave a couple more articles for additional guidance and future reference:
Reply again or give us another visit in the future if you need anything else. I'll jump right back if you need more help with QuickBooks Online.
Thank you. I am following this work-about solution and have been doing so for years. Please do reach out to DBS and work out a connection with DBS business banking. Quickbooks online surely caters to Business customer. Linking to personal bank accounts is hardly useful. Please do look into this. Thank you,
Time to get your act together! You position yourselves as a major accounting software also in Singapore yet you are not able to connect to the biggest SME bank in the country! Which makes it even more questionable when you actually used to and It worked fine for a bit!
My assumption has been that sinceDBS has been working on its own accounting software (Financio) and also collaborates with XERO that they have no appetite to work with QB.
Yet no-one has come out to say so.
Personally I am considering changing.
Xero support is good and fast , the bank feeds are good, the software lacks some features, only Quickbooks
Desktop have like Mfg and product assembly
i am thinking of switching but xero bank feeds works well so i am holding back on Quickbooks Desktop until they fix the bank feeds, same problem back in 2017-2018 bank feeds don't work and the document storage through email link
For in Xero, Mfg and product assembly there is work around
Quickbooks Please fix the issues , your software is good , just need some fixing
