How can I include signature field on a delivery note, that doesn't show prices/ invoice value?

How can I include signature field on a delivery note, that doesn't show prices/ invoice value?

I need a proof of delivery when a third party driver delivers stock, WITHOUT the invoice value showing.

When I deliver stock myself using the full invoice I can customise the message on invoice to show this:

"No of cases received = ______

TIME: _____:______

SIGNED ___________________________

Date: _____/_____/____________  "

I can't seem to add this message to a delivery note.

It's necessary to show quantities but not the pricing.

I have also tried another workaround by creating a custom invoice, changing the name to Delivery Note, and adding the signature section in the bottom message section. However I cannot hide the the total cost and total VAT in bottom section. (I can hide the individual item cost in each line in the middle section but the invoice value still is displayed in the bottom section - slightly ridiculous.)    Screenshot attached.   Please help.

A delivery note is NOT SUPPOSED  to show the pricing, so how can I add a signature section to one, for proof of delivery?   Pretty vital for a delivery note.

Many thanks.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community space, @danielleg.

We can see how having the option to add a signature on a delivery note and not show the invoice value can help your business. Checking here on our end, the option you're trying to access isn't available inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). We'd recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development Team so they can evaluate your suggestion and consider adding it to future programs. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

Additionally, we've added these articles to help you manage invoice payments, and generate reports to ensure your data stays accurate inside QBO:
