We have a multi-currency company. We need to be able to enter products and sell them in a currency different than our home currency. I would like to request a change to the application to alllow us to do that. Thank you!
Welcome to the Community, @JoanneP.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), once the Multicurrency feature is turned on, you can go ahead and sell a product (with home currency) to a customer with a different one. All you need to do is to add their currency to their information.
Here's how:
For more information, refer to this article: Turn on and use multicurrency.
However, the ability to enter products and sell them in a currency different than our home currency is currently unavailable. I can see how having this feature would be helpful for you and your business. Rest assured that I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas from users on how to improve QBO.
In the meantime, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.
Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Enter home currency adjustments for your foreign balances.

Thank you! Yes, we really need this feature. We are in Canada but sell products all over the world, mostly in US dollars. As it is now we will have to re-enter the price for every product on every invoice. It would be nice to add a currency when you add the price to the product (just like you can attach a currency to a customer).
Thanks for your quick response.

Explore this payment service to deal with multi-currency transaction. It supports QBO.
But if you need to manage custom price lists in different currencies, for various customer types (e.g wholesale, retail, repeat customers), product categories, areas, and so on, you should consider purchasing an inventory management app and integrate it with your QBO.
Just my 2 cents.
