General Ledger

I keyed in name under the "Name" box in my Journal Entry but the name did not appear under "Name' column in General Ledger. How can I have the name show in the "Name" column in General Ledger?

General Ledger

Thanks for checking in with us, SGSG.

The option to show the name in the Journal Entry in the General Ledger's Name columns is unavailable. It will only show the name of the transactions created like expenses, sales and deposits. However, we can export the report to Excel and manually enter the name of the journal entries. Here's how:

  1. Click Reports on the left menu and search General Ledger.
  2. You can also click the Standard tab and scroll-down to the For my accountant section.
  3. Select General Ledger.
  4. tick the Export to Excel icon on the report and enter the details.
  5. You can also customise the report if necessary.
